The 27th Annual Kona Brewers Festival is Here

With generous support from the Hawai’i Tourism Authority’s Community Enrichment Program, The Ke Kai Ala Foundation’s Kona Brewers Festival will host 500 vaccinated guests to enjoy island made craft beer, farm fresh local dishes, music and fashion, in the spirit of community and resiliency.

We return to the beloved and sacred space at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel once again, as the world cautiously reopens. As a temporary format, we have gathered our local island businesses to host “mini” Kona Brewers Festival Pop-ups called “Paina on Pawai” at BREW, with parties offered by Umekes, Willie’s Hot Chicken, and Kona Brew Pub all day long. Live Music is scheduled between 2pm and 10pm at participating locations.  More information about the Paina on Pawai is available with the hosting businesses and at www.konabrewersfestival.com.

The Kona Brewers Festival kicks off at 7:30am with the Run for Hops family friendly 5k run/walk/dance at BMW of Hawaii.  Pre-registration at www.konabrewersfestival.com is required.

The Kona Brewers Festival has always been about promoting Hawaii’s cultural values, sustainable environmental practices, and fortifying community-based programs and positive experience for residents and visitors alike. This event has raised over 1.4 million in low restriction funds for island organizations.  Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, our foundation has donated $140,000 to community non-profits. This year, we root in sustaining the legacy of the festival, after two years of COVID-19 interruptions to our beloved gathering.

Tapping up this year is our Hawaiian Island Brewmasters. Ticketholders will delight in the very best from the following breweries.

Big Island Brewhaus

Broken Boundary Brewing

Hana Koa Brewing

Hilo Brewing Co

Honolulu Beerworks

Inu Island Ales

Kohola Brewery

Kona Brewing Company

Lanikai Brewing Company

Maui Brewing Co.

Ola Brewing

The unlimited cuisine tasting included with the ticket price is a big part of what makes this festival sell out year after year.  This year, we have Chefs presenting from the following local eateries.

Honu’s on the Beach

Kona Coffee & Tea
