Brewer’s Pa’ina and Art Auction Blends Culture, Craft Brew and Cuisine
Kicking off the celebration of the Kona Brewers Festival is the Brewer’s Pa’ina being held on Thursday March 12 from 6-8:30 pm at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel luau grounds.
The Pa’ina, which translates to “feast” in the Hawaiian language, is the Kona Brewers Festival annual ocean-side culinary dining event served under the stars with each course expertly paired with Kona Brewing Company beers. Most dishes feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients and incorporate craft brew in the recipes. Art and culture of Hawaii will also be featured through live entertainment and a silent art auction hosted by the Donkey Mill Art Center. The art auction will feature many unique and extraordinary items along with baskets of cuisine, golf, and adventure packages, all generously donated by local artists and businesses. Proceeds benefit nonprofit organizations working on behalf of children and the environment.
If you love local cuisine, craft beer, cultural entertainment and exceptional art served together for a great cause, this event is for you. Tickets are $100 and are on sale here or the Donkey Mill Art Center.
Presented by the Kona Brewers Festival, Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel and Donkey Mill Art Center.
